Job DescriptionDescription:

Company’s Final Assembly Production EngineeringDepartment is looking for a passionate and highly-motivatedAssembly Technician Technician. The primary responsibility of thisrole is to provide technical/skilled support to Assembly FinalAssembly Engineering team. This includes design/drawing review,buyoff support, install/commissioning, and equipment start upsupport. Reporting to the Technician Manager the person in thisrole will support the Final Assembly Production Engineeringdepartment’s objective to provide high quality, low cost andreliable plant Equipment and control systems What you’ll be doingReview equipment specifications and design, identify improvements,conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions, Installequipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.

Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implementmodifications. Trial and adjust. Lower cost and decrease projecttime by confirming safety, quality, and productivity of equipmentat vendor, prior to installation. Minimize adjustment time duringvehicle trials by performing quality trials at vendor. Lower costand decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor, andfacilitating kanban process. Improve equipment quality andproductivity by implementing adjustments , as identified duringonline vehicle trials. Confirm quality results by secondary method(Torque check, vacuum profiles, etc) Install, setup andtroubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers Providetraining to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipmentShare Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance andProduction Members Travel up to 50% at times.

REQUIREMENTS

MainPointers:

Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc,Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley

• 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of PLC’s
• 2 years Comprehensive knowledgeof Electrical circuits and Industrial controls (Hydraulics Example-motor starters etc
• 2 years Ability to travel up to 50% at times.

(Including International travel) Ability to work up to 30% overtimewhen required. Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion

WHAT YOU BRING

Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc,Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley

• 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of PLC’s
• 2 years Comprehensive knowledgeof Electrical circuits and Industrial controls (Hydraulics Ex motorstarters
• 2 years 2 year technical degree or completion of tradeschool program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/orequivalent work experience.

Ability to read mechanical/electricaldrawings Ability to travel up to 50% at times. (IncludingInternational travel) Ability to work up to 30% overtime whenrequired. Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion Abilityto frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching onvarying surfaces. Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, powertools, and machinery. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.

Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs. Abilityto work in various environments including hot, cold, or confinedspaces Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long shifts.

What you may bring 2 years Industrial maintenance experienceKnowledge of Industrial Robot programming and teaching Knowledge ofAGVs/AMRs programming and set up Knowledge of safety scanners andprogramming. Knowledge of various industrial controls networking,EthernetIP, FLNet, ProfiNet ect. Automotive manufacturingexperience.•
