Heavy Industrial Assembler Career Start Rochester, NY 14624 Job Summary Career Start is currently seeking a 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) Heavy Industrial Assembler in Gates, NY. To be considered for this Mechanical Assembler position, candidates must be able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (including decimals and fractions), and demonstrate comfort using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. The Heavy Industrial Assembler will be responsible for following the assembly schedule to ensure timely production, maintain quality standards, and support the overall assembly process.

Responsibilities Heavy Industrial Assembler:

Follow all assembly instructions and production schedules to ensure efficient workflow. Measure, coordinate, and prepare pieces for assembly, including cutting rods to specified lengths. Clean and prep all materials prior to assembly; assist in epoxy application and curing process. Package finished products and maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the work area.

Requirements Heavy Industrial Assembler:

Familiarity with material handling and operation of basic equipment. Ability to use hand/power tools and adjustable measuring instruments safely and effectively. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, and be comfortable standing, bending, and lifting throughout a fast-paced shift. #
