EXPECTED
RESPONSIBILITIESUsing hand tools to put components togetherCabling all components togetherFollowing extensive build proceduresScanning in all components for a given project or buildFilling out detailed system traveler accurately to capture all steps of the operationRework system assembly as neededKeeping work area clean and safeProducing completed parts by assembling components, subassemblies, and managing cables, unboxing, sorting, lifting, labeling, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Speak, read, and write English fluentlyUS citizen or Permanent ResidentBe able to lift 50 poundsExperience in mechanical assembly and cable dressing of computer systemsBe able to stand, walk, and lift throughout the dayBe accurate and quality consciousAbility to perform critical tasks in a consistent and efficient mannerContinuous improvement mindsetStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMust be able to work both independently and in a team environment and take orders from supervisorsGood communicator capable of training others to do tasks you are familiar with while explaining processes and rationaleFollow a build schematic successfullyBe able to undergo a comprehensive background checkReliable transportation
DESIRED SKILLS
After assembly, set up test instruments and complete required documentationConfigure RAID controllersWindows / Linux Software installation onto systems when requiredQuality control inspection of finished goods, systems & system OS installation and configurationAssistance maintaining server & network hardware and software infrastructure, including internal equipment, computational workstations & clusters
