Saab, Inc. is growing! We are expanding ourworkforce in our new Cranston, RI manufacturing facility creatingthe next generation of Autonomous Undersea Vehicles and are seekingSenior Assemblers to join our Manufacturing/ Production team.

Responsibilities include: Assembling parts and/or units andpositions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies,or frames using various hand and power tools. Positioning,aligning, and adjusting parts for proper fit and assembly.

Connecting cables, rods and wiring according to standardmanufacturing methods and procedures. Possessing working knowledgeof basic hand tools including torque, crimper, etc. Soldering usingintermediate techniques. Demonstrating intermediate computerskills, including the ability to use a computer’s scroll bars,mouse, and dialog boxes to work within the operating system. Usingspecific computer databases including, but not limited to, Oracleto manage information, input data, retrieve specific records, tocommunicate the information. Understanding written sentences andparagraphs in work-related documents and possesses the ability toread and interpret drawings and wire lists.

Compensation Range:

$25.19- $30.24/hr The compensation range provided is a generalguideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factorsincluding (but not limited to) the role and associatedresponsibilities, location, and market and business considerations,as well as the candidate’s work experience, key skills, andeducation/training.

Skills and Experience:

3-5 years Qualifiedmechanical assembly manufacturing experience. High school degree orequivalent required. Technical degree or certification in the fieldof assembly, mechanics, or maintenance is preferred but notrequired. Experience in delivering high levels of quality incompliance with

ISO/AS9100

a plus. Proficiency interpretingengineering drawings and specifications in written and digitalformat required. Ability to execute the appropriate working methodsand select the right tools to meet the right level of quality andefficiency. Ability to work with standardized procedures for highrepeatability in a highly advanced and connected environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to standfor extended periods. Ability to perform physical tasks such assitting, bending, stooping, walking, climbing, reaching throughouta normal workday. Ability to perform repetitive motions (such aslifting or assembly of parts), including the use of handheld powertools.

Must be a U.S. citizen, PermanentResident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
