job summary: An Assembler is needed for one of the world’s largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Bohemia, NY area. This job will assemble products by interpreting blueprints, operating hand and power tools, managing inventory, ensuring quality, performing repairs, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Bohemia, New York job type: Contract salary: $18.91 – 21.75 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Blueprint Interpretation Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materialsFollow written instructions accurately to assemble products Tool Operation Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently and safely Inventory Management Maintain organized inventory at workstations to support smooth workflow Quality Assurance Perform quality checks on assembled productsIdentify and document defects for analysis and correction Rework and Repair Rework or repair assembled equipment/products per updated engineering specifications Safety and Cleanliness Adhere to quality standards and established safety proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbsAble to stand for up to 8 hours per day Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma with minimum 2 years relevant experience, or4 years relevant experience if no HS diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Experience in electronics assemblyExperience in product assemblySkilled with hand tools and electric power tools qualifications: Experience level:
