Job Title:
Engineering Technician – Assembly (Overtime Eligible)
Location:
New Brighton PA New Product Introduction Facility Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician – Assembly to support the development and optimization of assembly processes for new products. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that all products meet our high standards for quality and efficiency before entering full-scale production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine detailed assembly instructions for new product introductions
- Utilize Kenson’s proprietary MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to ensure clear, pictorial step-by-step job instructions and cycling expectations
- Establish reproducible protocols to evaluate performance across production runs
- Document critical setup information including tooling requirements, inspection checkpoints, and image capture of key steps
- Design and implement inspection plans for each new product
- Collaborate with engineering to identify and develop fixturing solutions for improved alignment and assembly speed
- Conduct final production readiness checks to ensure jobs meet performance standards before transfer to the main production line
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with MES or similar systems; experience with pictorial work instructions is a plus
- Strong documentation and process development skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Experience with inspection techniques and quality control protocols
Education & Experience:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience. 2+ years of experience in a robotics or automation technician role preferred.

$55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
