• Job Description
• Join our team as a Light Industrial Assembler, where you’ll engage in hands-on work, assembling stairs and railings using various hand and power tools. This entry-level position is perfect for someone entering or returning to the workforce, offering on-the-job training with no prior experience required.
• Responsibilities
• + Clean out the box and prepare for loading.

+ Grab the manifest and any additional paperwork to properly load products in order. + Locate materials and use a pallet jack to transport them to the box truck door. + Scan materials and manually load them into the box truck, ensuring stairs are double-stacked. + Lift materials weighing between 30 to 480 lbs, with individual lifting up to 75 lbs. + Secure materials for transit. + Assist with unloading of cabinets in receiving or deliveries. + Perform occasional maintenance on boxes, such as fixing lights or leaks. + Obtain a scissor lift certification through company-provided training.

• Essential Skills
• + Ability to lift 75 lbs independently. + Excellent communication skills. + Efficiency in a self-managed environment. + Positive attitude and respect for others. + Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Prior woodworking or carpentry experience is a plus but not required. + DOT certification preferred but not required. + Conscientious, hardworking, team player, and detail-oriented. + Ability to perform additional tasks as needed.

• Work Environment
• Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 3:30pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 10:00am. The shop is clean, and employees are expected to maintain their work area before and after shifts. We foster a respectful and friendly environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHAMBERSBURG, Pennsylvania.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
