Position Summary:

The Assembler-Wash Down will play a crucial role in the meticulous assembly of precision valves, ensuring the integrity and functionality of our products. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality valves that meet industry standards. Primary Functions:

Execute the assembly of equipment designed for washdown applications, following precise engineering specifications and assembly instructions. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the assembly process. Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure compliance with stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards. Identify and report any deviations or defects, collaborating closely with the quality assurance team for resolution. Verify the quality and integrity of materials used in the assembly process. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of the washdown equipment assembly processes. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, particularly those relevant to equipment used in washdown environments. Ensure that assembled products meet environmental standards and regulations. Collaborate with engineering teams to address assembly challenges, implement improvements, and contribute insights for the enhancement of product design. Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical assembly are a plus. Proven experience in valve assembly or a similar precision assembly role. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed assembly instructions. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in valve assembly. Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as: Safely navigating a manufacturing environment Extended periods of sitting and using a computer Occasional bending and stooping Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
