Aircraft Assembler 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars North Charleston, SC 29418 These are Aircraft Assembler roles that do not require previous aircraft maintenance experience, however, strong assembly/mechanic/machinist experience is required Resumes should include specific tools used, ability to read blueprints, and list detailed relevant work history – applicants without this information will not be considered Candidates without relevant experience within the past 2 years will not be considered Candidates must have the following: Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing assembly, machinist, mechanic experience – must be recent Stable work history Experience reading and interpreting blueprints Experience using power tools and hand tools Computer literacy is required Ability to work any shift assigned (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) Ability to complete 9-10 weeks upfront paid training Ability to maintain perfect attendance during training Ability to pass training assessments Requirements/Years of experience 6 months or more experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications. 6 months or more experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English. 6 months or more experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic (air) tools. 6 months or more experience with structural parts fabrication, assembly processes and procedures. Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job? Install various parts and assemblies such as landing gear, aircraft control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats. Install various aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts. Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.

$25.00 – $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
