Responsible to assemble and prepare strut assemblies for shipment. Responsible for sub-assembly, building, quality control, and packaging of finished product. Schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm and overtime as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Unpack strut, springs and component for assembly Able to work in all stage of the production process, sub assembly, building, packaging. Must be able to operate the Sturt machine, Strut machine and use the torque wrench. Complete quality assurance testing on products Maintain storage for material and product inventory Assist with recycling of cardboard and plastic as time permits Transport materials, parts, supplies and equipment as well as packing and shipping product throughout the department via order picker, forklift or pallet jack. Ensure supplies, boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc., are in stock, inform manager to reorder levels. Provide training/cross- training in equipment and process operations as needed. Maintain cleanliness of production area. Oversee compliance of practices and maintain an orderly and safe warehouse and shipping area. Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Customer goals are achieved.
