Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and disassembleponents.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (

Lunch:

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM)

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must have a light industrial or mechanical background.
Must have 1-3 years of experience in a mechanical setting and skills in operating specialized tools.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Assembleponents by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Disassembleponents using hand and power tools.
Clean and buffponents.
Washponents in solvent and run parts through the parts washer.
Blow out parts to remove solvent and dirt.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with 5S protocol.
Ensure schedules are followed as listed.
Operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Turn off equipment when not in use.
Maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of experience in a mechanical or light industrial role.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in the use of hand tools.
Knowledge of basic mechanics and machine testing procedures.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in physically demanding positions.

Pay Details:

$17.00 per hour
