Fabricator Position Available In Cheatham, Tennessee

Job Title:

Fabricator Job Description The fabricator plays a crucial role in preparing materials before the welders begin their work. This involves reading blueprints and accurately measuring materials to ensure they are ready for the welding process. The position requires being on your feet for the entire shift and moving throughout the plant as needed. Responsibilities Lay out materials and prepare them for welding. Read and interpret blueprints. Measure materials accurately. Move throughout the plant to assist as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in flux core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Basic fabrication and fitting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous welding experience of 3-6 months. Ability to pass a weld test during the interview (1-5F). Participation in a two-week on-site welding school if offered. Strong measuring abilities. No piercings and ability to wear steel-toed ankle-high leather boots. Ability to work without contacts due to welding smoke. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is outdoors and can be very hot. Employees are required to wear long sleeves and pants, and steel-toed boots are mandatory.

The position offers two shifts:

1st shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM

• 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM
• 12:45 AM). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.30
