Job Summary:
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for the accurate assembly of custom cabinetry, casework, and architectural millwork according to company specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings, and experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble cabinets and casework from pre-cut materials using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, and tools. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine assembly requirements. Operate hand and power tools, including drills, routers, saws, and pneumatic tools, safely and efficiently. Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy; ensure all specifications are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status or issues. Assist in loading, unloading, and packaging finished products as needed. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 1-2 years of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field preferred. Ability to read tape measures, drawings, and schematics with accuracy. Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools. Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
