Assembler Columbia Equipment Sales Wartburg, TN 37887 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assemble components and parts using hand tools and power tools in accordance with provided specifications. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to transport materials. Fabricate and modify parts as necessary to ensure proper fit and function. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards. Troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest improvements to processes. Qualifications Previous experience in an assembly line or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation, is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, or schematics. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
