Countertop Fabricator Bellagio Granite Gallatin, TN 37066 Are you ready to build your career and design your future? You’ve come to the right place! Bellagio Granite Marble & Quartz is seeking a Polisher to join our Granite and Stone Countertop Shop. The Polisher will be responsible for refining, smoothing, and finishing stone surfaces to achieve a high-quality polished look. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various stone materials, including granite, quartz, and marble .
- Key Responsibilities
- Polish stone surfaces using hand tools, grinders, and polishing machines.
- Apply ap propriate finishing techniques to achieve smooth, glossy, or matte surfaces according to customer specifications.
- Inspect stone slabs for imperfections, chips, or scratches, and correct any defects as needed.
- Use diamond pads, polishing compounds, and sealants to enhance the final appearance of the stone.
- Operate handheld and power polishing tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all polished surfaces meet quality control standards before fabrication and installation.
- Assist fabricators and saw operators with handling and positioning stone slabs when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements when handling stone materials and polishing equipment. Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred experience in stone polishing, fabrication, or countertop finishing .
- Knowledge of the properties of granite, quartz, marble, and other natural stone s.
- Proficient in using hand grinders, edge polishing machines, and buffers .
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes .
- Capable of lifting over 50 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment .
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented production environment. Training Available Overtime is Available Bilingual Is A Positive!
