Fabrication Technician JBM Sherman Carmel 14 Morse Road, Bennington, VT 05201 MONDAY – THURSDAY (FRIDAYS OFF)! 10 HOUR
SHIFTS SIGN ON BONUS!
Fabrication Technician Position summary: Perform various duties within the Fabrication Department. Duties include learning the requirements of each department.
Tasks:
Help production workers by performing duties, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Manually grind parts in preparation for laser or Welding. Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. Operate machinery used in the production process or assist laser or welding. Set up, operate, or tend grinding and related tools that remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, according to specifications. Learn the process of cleaning and preparing parts to be laser cut or welded
Preferred Experience and Education:
No Education or Experience Required Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and bend 50 lbs. or less
