Production Manager Southern Fuelwood Inc. Newberry, FL 32669 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, including assembly line management and warehouse operations. This role requires excellent leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely. Duties Manage and coordinate all aspects of production within the facility, ensuring that products are fabricated and assembled according to specifications. Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance. Oversee the operation of machinery, including forklifts, hand tools, and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Monitor production schedules and workflow to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment. Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, logistics, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices. Experience operating forklifts and using various hand and power tools safely. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
