Role Description:
The Plant Manager’s primary responsibilities include the daily management and coordination of plant operations including production, logistics, maintenance and finance while ensuring compliance with all labor, safety, environmental, public health and corporate policies and regulations.

Fort Lauderdale, FL Key Responsibilities and Duties:
The list of duties is not exhaustive; additional duties may be added at the discretion of the CEO. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations of the plant Continuously monitor system and component conditions, evaluating those conditions to determine plant and equipment performance Overseeing the plant facilities and equipment maintenance on site, triggering corrective actions as necessary Collect and analyze “trending” information to evaluate equipment performance and to forecast possible equipment failures Operation of all plant equipment to meet stringent production requirements Prioritize and plan workload to ensure resources are available to ensure the plant is continuously running Work with staff in planning, budgeting, organizing resources, executing work plans, Monitor production and quality, co-ordinate priorities, resolves issues and participate in special projects and work schedules Assist in and support major maintenance on plant equipment To ensure all equipment maintenance/breakdowns repairs are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner, causing minimum disruption to operations Assist the Operations to effectively develop, manage and control the Operations and Shift rosters Ensuring all contractual and statutory requirements are met Ensuring all certification and reports relating to the operation are correctly stored and available for inspection and audit Ensure site compliance to all labour, safety, and environmental regulations Prepare Daily, weekly and monthly reports to IDE management and various authorities Hire, direct, coach and mentor staff to ensure performance targets are being met Availability 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide immediate instructions to the control room Review, formulation and implementation of an Annual Operations Plan Review, formulation, implementation and achievement of an Annual Budget and ensure its consistency with the Annual O&M budget plan. Provision of an accurate and representative progress report against the achievements of the Annual Operations Plan. Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Continuous Improvement. Participate in the identification and implementation of initiatives that will result in performance improvements. Participate in the development and publication of statistical data and reports to the plant owners and the company To ensure that all waste disposal procedures are carried out in accordance with current statutory requirements.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience and a proven track record working in a management role or equivalent position in a water treatment plant Practical detailed knowledge of Reverse Osmosis process and controls Class A Certified Water Treatment Operator preferred Multi-disciplined technical background Experience of working in a complex production environment Able to work in a demanding and busy environment Thorough knowledge of modern Industrial Practices and Processes Intermediate computer knowledge of standard MS Office package (Word, PPT, Access and Excel) Knowledge of financial reporting solutions and software Knowledge of SCADA and Reporting software Able to lead, challenge and work as part of a diverse team Practical aptitude, self-motivated and a confident communicator Ability to work long hours, weekends, holidays and be on call when required Successfully pass a background test, pre-employment physical and drug test

Physical Demands:
