We’re seeking a Plant Manager to lead one of our dynamic manufacturing facilities. As Plant Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind operations at your assigned manufacturing plant. You’ll lead all aspects of plant performance, including shipping/receiving, production, and maintenance, while developing a high-performing, motivated, and safety-focused team. This full-time (exempt) salaried position reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing and is located at our Umatilla, FL facility.

Essential Functions:
Oversee Plant Operations:

Direct, manage, and coordinate all aspects of plant operations in alignment with company policies, procedures, and strategic goals.

Ensure Facility Standards:

Maintain a safe, clean, and productive working environment that supports operational efficiency and employee well-being.

Drive Production and Quality Performance:

Establish, monitor, and improve performance metrics to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

Lead Maintenance Operations:

Supervise and guide the maintenance department to ensure timely, effective support of production activities and overall equipment reliability.

Optimize Resources:

Develop and implement initiatives to maximize efficiency in the use of materials, machinery, and workforce. Collaborate on

Production Planning:

Review daily production schedules, set priorities, and coordinate with engineering and planning teams to support product or equipment changes.

Provide Leadership and Training:

Deliver clear direction, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members to achieve company objectives.

Foster Cross-Functional Communication:

Act as a key liaison across departments and locations, working closely with senior leadership, sales, operations, engineering, and finance.

Promote Positive Working Relationships:

Model professionalism and collaboration to maintain a respectful and productive workplace culture.

Champion Workplace Safety:

Cultivate and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all facility safety rules, practices, and regulations.

Ensure Policy Compliance:

Consistently adhere to and uphold all organizational policies, procedures, and values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and production-related equipment. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Solid analytical and mathematical capabilities to interpret data and support decision-making. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting effectively across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision. Critical thinking skills, including the ability to reason, evaluate, compare, and analyze complex information. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong decision-making skills with a focus on fairness, consistency, and sound judgment. Experience managing concurrent projects and adapting to changing priorities. Ability to foster a positive, inclusive work environment and interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience:

5-10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role overseeing operations, production, or maintenance.

Work Conditions:

Works in an office and manufacturing environment. Some physical exertion required. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
