Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Electrical Manufacturing Manager to oversee all aspects of our electrical manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing production processes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing of our products. As the Electrical Manufacturing Manager you will play a crucial role in leading our production operations, ensuring compliance with NEC and UL891 standards, and managing a team of skilled Electricians, Mechanical Assemblers, and other manufacturing professionals. Your expertise in leadership, industrial electrical wiring, electrical systems, warehousing, and design will drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Operations:

  Oversee the day to day operations and all aspects of the manufacturing process, including electrical wiring of switchboards, assembly, and testing.

• Quality and Compliance:

  Ensure that manufacturing processes and products adhere to NEC, UL891, and other standards and other relevant regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.

• Process Optimization:

  Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

• Electrical Expertise:

  Expert level understanding of electrical systems and components as related to Transformers, Switchboards, and Switchgear is required.

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the manufacturing team to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and improve product quality.
• Manage manufacturing budget, resources, and capacity planning to meet business demands.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices to optimize workflow and eliminate waste.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience working in the Transformer/Switchboard/Power Gen energy industry is a requirement. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical manufacturing management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing manufacturing operations and driving process improvements.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• This is an onsite role in Lake Park, Florida.
