Full Job Description Overview:

The Director of Quality, Security & Compliance plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational security within a high-security manufacturing environment. This position places a strong emphasis on quality control in manufacturing , overseeing compliance with industry standards, maintaining certifications, and driving continuous improvements in quality assurance. Additionally, the Director ensures the physical security of the facility and the integrity of ticket production.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality & Product Integrity Lead the Quality Control team to ensure that all printed products meet rigorous industry and client standards. Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance protocols to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product reliability. Work closely with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and optimize production processes for ticket security and integrity. Provide benchmarking analysis and reports to senior management, identifying trends and performance compared to competitors. Recommend enhancements to ticket testing procedures to strengthen product security and reliability. Compliance & Certifications Support the Compliance Manager in conducting internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO and other industry standards. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement , addressing customer complaints and identifying areas for optimization. Ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) standards , maintaining all relevant certifications and regulatory requirements. Security & Facility Protection Oversee physical security operations , ensuring the protection of company assets and adherence to security guidelines. Interface with lottery security directors and auditors to coordinate routine inspections and investigations. Develop strategies for mitigating security risks , enforcing security protocols, and managing incident response. Supervise the destruction of non-conforming products, ensuring strict control over inventory security measures. Leadership & Training Establish departmental objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in quality, security, and compliance. Define training needs for direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence . Provide guidance and mentorship to the Quality Control and Compliance Managers , ensuring alignment with company priorities.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Manufacturing Management , or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment , with a strong focus on quality assurance. 7+ years of supervisory experience , preferably in a high-security or regulated industry. Experience conducting internal/external audits in compliance with industry standards and best practices. Skills & Expertise Deep understanding of manufacturing quality control processes and industry regulations. Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a track record of driving process improvements . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization. Ability to train, mentor, and develop talent in quality assurance and compliance operations . Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in quality assurance, compliance, or auditing . Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing , or other continuous improvement methodologies.
