Bartow, FL Assure Infusions is recruiting for a Plant Manager to be based at our Bartow, FL facility. At Assure Infusions, we are a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to produce IV solutions in Flexible IV bags, Assure Infusions is a fully automated manufacturing facility using the latest technology to prevent contamination by minimizing manual processes and human errors. Reporting to the COO, this Site Manager directs the state-of-the-art manufacturing operations at our campus. Builds an environment of Business Excellence ensuring that Quality Systems and other Compliance requirements are met while demonstrating organizational excellence and continuous improvement based on the principles of the AI Operating System. You will develop the strategic, capital and business operating plans, including setting annual budgets and Long-Term Financial Plans for the operation. Responsible for controlling costs to achieve standard cost, capital and inventory targets, the Site Manager ensures that manufacturing capacity is available to meet forecast demand and strategic plans, and that production plans and master schedules are met. Ensures the effective introduction of new products by partnering with the Value Stream Team and the cross functional product introduction team. Key Objectives and Responsibilities Deliver Excellence in Execution Responsible for overall performance of the site and delivery against production plan goals Ensure quality and compliance for the site; define manufacturing and cGMP standards. Create an environment that prioritizes and holds site leadership accountable for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Meet cost of conversion goals with an understanding of net cost change and tax implications; drive down costs and waste Set site strategy in alignment with network strategy and define operational plan to execute it, aligned with Digital strategy Translate business/commercial strategy into clear and compelling goals to engage others around the vision Developed and executed safety programs concerning behavior safety, lifesaving rules, and incident reporting system Provide clear direction for leadership team (not all have direct reporting relationships to plant manager) to ensure clarity of expectations and responsibilities Ensure profitable external relationships and drive engagement with the local community Complete strategic/value stream projects as they are tied to the business—ensure plant goals are tied to commercial priorities Drive change and innovation while ensuring compliance within the regulated environment Create Life-Enhancing Innovation Balance the tactical day-to-day execution with a strategic focus to prepare the plant to respond to future internal needs and external trends (customer and market needs) Champion for the site across internal network to position the site as a viable manufacturer of new product needs Champion and drive reliability across the site. Must have previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing at least 4 years. Implemented Six Sigma tools, including value stream mapping, timeline analysis, SMED, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis. • LEAN implementation Demonstrated expertise in managing significant change within a manufacturing operating environment. Experience in plant start-ups with demonstrated success in organizational development and team building. Hands-on experience managing both large and small capital projects. Expertise in Safety Management with demonstrated results. Proficiency in Quality Management Systems with demonstrated results. Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
