Our client, an innovative and fast-growing manufacturing company based in Morrow, GA, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Plant Manager to lead operations at their startup facility. What You’ll Do:

As the Plant Manager, you’ll take full ownership of daily production operations. From managing shop teams to streamlining workflows, overseeing drawings, coordinating with vendors, and driving quality and delivery—you’ll be the go-to leader ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Plant Supervision Lead and motivate shop staff with clear daily priorities. Oversee and evaluate assembly processes to maintain high quality standards. Conduct weekly shop meetings and monthly training/update sessions. Coordinate courier logistics and staff training plans. Production Management Review production schedules with staff at least twice a week. Set priorities, schedule jobs, and coordinate next steps to meet tight customer deadlines. Communicate job shipment details to administrative staff for invoicing. Participate in bi-weekly production planning meetings. Vendor Coordination Manage purchase orders and coordinate the transport of parts for finishing. Follow up with vendors on timelines and manage pick-up/drop-off schedules. Drawings & Design Oversight Review and oversee CAD Technician work as needed. Inventory Leadership Review stock levels with facility and manage teams to meet production needs. Lead annual inventory prep and physical counts (November/December). Track all parts, materials, and finished goods.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership—startup facility experience is a plus Strong leadership and team-building abilities Organized, results-driven, and a self-starter Excellent communication and decision-making skills Able to commute to Morrow, GA 30260 Comfortable in a role where overtime may be required Familiar with WMS/MRP system

Bonus Points For:

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week; schedule subject to change) Overtime may be required during peak production periods.
