Summary:
- Manage manufacturing and ensure that operations are conducted according to established quality, yield, and throughput goals. Improve plant efficiency through equipment and process improvements.
- Develop and manage capital projects to improve operational efficiency, production output, quality, and safety.
- Provide training and guidance to Production personnel in the operation and safe practices of all manufacturing equipment, and NXT Plastics Industry’s policies and procedures.
- Operate in accordance with OSHA standards
- Work with operators in the units (troubleshooting) to make sure products run at targeted rates
- Coordinate with customer service / scheduling on meeting customer needs while optimizing the schedule for production efficiency.
- Collect, track, and input production data.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding plant operations.
- Develop and implement SAP system, including production documentation and assisting in inventory management.
- Assist leads with ongoing training of operators.
- Assists maintenance as needed in equipment and parts problems.
- Collaborate with R D to ensure the efficient scale up new products.
- Establish and publish metrics to track performance and cleanout times.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge & skills:
- Thorough understanding of plastic extrusion and molding, including equipment, parameters, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold people accountable.
- Excellent planning, organization, decision making, problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Capable of working within a changing environment and prioritizing and achieving results with limited resources.
- Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create, compose, and edit reports or presentations.

About Cireco:
Cireco, LLC is a rapidly growing spin-off from a metals recycling company whose goal is to optimize the recovery of recycled polymers from automobile shredder residue. Cireco is in the process of developing fully automated cleaning/recovery or polymers followed by extrusion and purification/compatibilization of the polymers for direct molding into finished products such as pallets, ground mats, railroad ties and many other items. The position entails redefining how the recycling industry is viewed and currently operated. Currently running extruders and compression molding presses.
