Full Job Description Scope :

The Production Manager is expected to lead by example the company’s core values. Has the ability to always present a positive attitude about the job and the company. A good leader must be able to find the balance between supporting the Company, the Customer, and the Associates. The Production Manager builds production schedules, making sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines and reviewing the productivity of an organization’s manufacturing performance.

Requirements:

High School degree or equivalent. Prefer some college or technical school or prior experience in similar position preferred. Proficiency in operating computers. Above average knowledge of wire preparation and assembly methods of all tasks required by the specific assembly department assigned. Training and development skills. Excellent organizational and detail skills. Above average people skills. (Listening skills, Communication, Counseling skills, Motivation skills). Knowledge and experience with

2015 audit is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure All Direct Associates follow the Perfect Process Package (P3). Coaches and motivates the Team. Relates well to a diverse workforce and communicates effectively with both Executives and Production Associates. Participates in daily confirmation meetings and at times Teams calls. Assist with the onboarding process of Direct Associates and Team Leads all leading to effective succession planning. To include performance reviews. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all production and quality processes. Measure, improve and reward Associates for achieving goals such that all Associates understand how their function and performance impacts Company performance. Support in maintaining the equipment and tools needed to assemble to produce parts. Maintain organized and functioning Production floor with the support of the Production Supervisor (if applicable), Material Handler, Team Leads and Direct Associates. Assist in controlling inventory, to be looking for cost saving ideas. Establish and implement program for 5S principles and policy. Complete the Monthly Shop Inspection Report and Review. Places priority on operating a safe environment. Partner with the Quality Assurance Leader on NCR to RMA to CAR Process coordinating all functions. Understand and Utilize ERP system and Production Schedule. Knows the requirements of an

2015 certification and operates in a compliant manner. Understands the Quality Policy and Business Objectives Utilize the production report and department PTO calendar, establish, and manage manpower levels and/or overtime requirements to achieve zero defects and on time delivery. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand, sit, and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Able to work in a sedentary environment and stand, sit, and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Able to use hands repetitively for up to 8 hours; grasping, turning, and fine manipulation. Able to use a variety of hand tools and operate machinery for up to 8 hours. Able to read, write, measure, and distinguish color. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, and climb. Able to see small details on a computer screen or paper documents. Able to type, use a mouse and manipulate other office equipment with precision. Able to coordinate hand and eye movements while typing or performing other tasks. Able to push, pull, and lift from up to 30lbs and occasionally 50lbs. Able to wear all required Personal Protection Equipment such as safety goggles and closed toed shoes while on the production floor.
