Position Overview:
The Production Manager will lead productionunits to ensure safe manufacturing and shipment of products, infull compliance with regulatory/corporate standards and in supportof business unit initiatives. Also responsible for developing andimplementing strategies to provide business units with the mostcompetitive unit costs and service profile for the markets served.
Responsibilities Remain in compliance with facility policies andprocedures regarding environmental, health and safety andgovernmental laws Prepare, analyze and issue production andperformance reports Control plant budget Drive the spirit ofcontinuous improvement to achieve manufacturing standards, usingLean tools, 5 S, Management of Change (MOC) Deliver productionplan, develop capacity and resource plans to ensure flexibility andagility to short term challenges Explore growth potentials andpursue new business opportunities in close cooperation withmarketing and sales Lead, motivate and develop organization in linewith company policies Manage performance of individuals/all plantstaff Lead new technologies within the department Participate incross-functional team meetings to solve problems Perform andsupport testing for new projects, change requests, upgrades,etc.
