Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Plant Manager with 7+ years of experience running fast-paced manufacturing operations. This role reports directly to our VP of Operations and oversees our largest production site . Strong leadership is a must-this is a high-visibility role with real impact. What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day plant operations-quality, safety, and production targets are your top priorities.
Own team performance:
coach, train, and hold your people accountable. Run lean-implement and drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma tools (belt certification is a bonus). Partner with vendors and manage quality issues head-on. Tackle scheduling, shift coverage, and production bottlenecks-may require rotating hours to cover all shifts. Keep an eye on the details: plant walks, audits, safety checks, and production metrics. Report KPIs, lead team meetings, and track key actions through completion. What You Bring Proven plant leadership in a high-volume manufacturing setting . Experience with lean manufacturing practices . Strong people management-able to lead from the floor, not just from the office. Familiarity with vendor relationships and quality systems (ISO a plus). Solid problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable with flexible hours and shift visibility. Nice to Have Six Sigma or Lean certification. Background in AD environments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
