This role requires strategic leadership in manufacturing processes, warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution networks to optimize productivity and meet organizational goals. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and enhance operational performance.
Pay:
$100,000.00/yr The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Staff & Management Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations:
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee production planning, process optimization, and capacity management to meet demand. Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, ISO, and other industry regulations for manufacturing standards. Lead lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Distribution & Logistics:
Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Develop and manage supply chain logistics , including vendor relationships and transportation strategies. Ensure efficient coordination between manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution centers . Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and distribution networks for maximum efficiency. Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements .
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams , including production managers, logistics coordinators, and warehouse staff. Develop and manage department budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures . Collaborate with executive leadership to align manufacturing and distribution goals with company objectives. Identify and implement new technologies and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability. Ensure strong communication and coordination between manufacturing, quality control, procurement, and sales teams .
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or operations management. 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies . Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain software . Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards. Effective communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing facility, warehouse, and corporate office setting. Requires standing, walking, and occasional travel between facilities and distribution centers. Occasional travel for vendor meetings, industry conferences, or site visits.
