The production manager plans, coordinates, and controls the activities of the production staff, monitors the quality and quantity of the output, and solves any problems that arise during the production process. How You’ll Make an Impact Plan and organize the production schedule, budget, and resource allocation to meet quality and quantity standards. Supervise and motivate production staff, ensuring adherence to health, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices. Implement Lean techniques and digitalization to drive process improvements and innovation. Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and eliminate bottlenecks to maintain efficient workflow. Connect with departments like engineering, marketing, and logistics to ensure timely product delivery. Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and maintain quality control standards. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field. 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably for engineering to order products. Proven senior Lean experience with a track record of implementing lean methodologies to improve production processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Solid understanding of the engineering and manufacturing principles and practices. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in using the relevant software and tools for production planning and control.
