Job Description
OVERVIEW
Express is seeking a Quality Control Lead associate for a local company in the Moncure, NC area. In this role the associate will be responsible for checking temperatures, thicknesses, measurements and squareness of Plywood at different stages throughout the production process. They will also be relaying information reported throughout all quality inspections to managers and supervisors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily checks on various temperatures throughout the plant Measure thickness of green veneer, dry veneer and plywood Ensuring that veneer is correct in length, width, voids, pitch Communicating with third party vendors Willing to become APA certified
REQUIREMENTS
1+ Year of experience in Quality Department Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the duration of shift Must speak fluent English, Bilingual is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively Analytical thinking and problem-solving
