Director of Operations/Plant Manager 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Amherst, NH Conveniently located in Amherst, NH, DiaCom is currently seeking a Director of Operations/Plant Manager. DiaCom operates three shifts, five days a week. DiaCom currently has 185 full-time and temporary employees with the majority reporting through this position. As a senior staff member reporting directly to the President, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on, on the factory floor position, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operation including: Logistics – from the purchase of raw materials, scheduling, productivity, through each process step to finished goods shipments to customers Cost Control – plan for budget, personnel and equipment needs required to meet sales, quality and delivery objectives Continuous improvement and cost reduction projects BS degree preferred, minimum 10+ years progressive management responsibility in a highly variable manufacturing environment, preferably material conversion. Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems preferred.
