We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Manufacturing Business Systems Deployment to oversee the deployment of make, plan, quality, deliver, and supply chain systems across a new manufacturing plant in Costa Rica and ensure seamless integration across two business units and the Transend S4 team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the resource plan, schedule, and execution of test script development, testing execution, cutover, and hypercare management. As well you will develop the strategy for business adoption, training, and procedures for a new campus with predominately new hires from outside J&J. The role will partner closely with the Ortho business lead, Electrophysiology (EP) business lead, and the Johnson & Johnson technology leaders and supply chain operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development

  • Develop the overall best strategy for how to deliver training, testing, go live, business adoption at new manufacturing site: Design and staff the testing for individual business systems (i.

e. MSP, Automation, LabVantage, APO, Blue Yonder, Compliance wire, etc.), the interface with other systems, as well as the end to end data flow with S4Hana. Develop a unique deployment and training strategy for technical and business go live and hypercare at a greenfield site with new to J&J employees and slow ramp of full system functionally usage. Coordination across Orthopedics and Electrophysiology (EP) businesses training to standardize and maximize efficiency, while delivering on critical business needs. Program Management Manage and coordinate multiple system workstreams, ensuring alignment with program timelines. Identify and mitigate risks, while efficiently managing resources across departments. Be a point of escalation and actively manage the effective onboarding of internal & external resources to enable the successful attainment of critical milestones Ensure adherence to Project Management and PMO principles. Working closely alongside the Business Lead & Information Technology Leads.

Technical Expertise:

Testing, training and business adoption of business systems including Manufacturing, Quality, Plan, Procurement, and Logistics (PP&L), Advanced Planning Systems (APS), central ERP and other franchise eco systems. Collaborate with the SAP S4Hana program team to enable end to end testing and training including Laboratory Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to ensure seamless operations and data flow. Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow across processes and systems. Work with Business leads lead to ensure system deployments are in line with testing, validation and qualification protocols and align on cutover & ramp up timelines, milestones & deliverables to enable overall go-live readiness for the manufacturing plant. Manage dependencies and key milestones with Technology partners and IT infrastructure & applications required to support the deployment.

Communication & Collaboration:

Engage with the Program Management Office (PMO), department heads, and other key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment. Collaborate closely with Business partners and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle with a particular focus on: project delivery; risk and issue management; and project governance Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors or consultants.

Change Management:

Work with Business Lead to sponsor change management initiatives to prepare stakeholders for new systems and processes. Develop and implement communication strategies to keep the organization informed.

Domain-Specific Knowledge:

Understand manufacturing processes, including quality control, procurement workflows, and warehouse management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the regulated manufacturing and technology industry.

Leadership:

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve deployment goals. Make informed decisions quickly, especially when faced with complex challenges.

Qualifications:
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; focused degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Required:

Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience Leadership experience leading complex strategic program in a large-scale, fast-paced environment with challenging requirements. Experience in system testing, training, and cutover management in at least a few of following systems landscape: Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Advanced Planning Systems (APS), Product LifeCycle Management Systems (PLM), Data Management Systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Preferred:

Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels of the organization. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in leading multiple diverse partner groups Ability to lead in a matrix, drive results, and remove barriers for teams. Strong dependency management skills.

Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
