The company has been in business for over 50 years and hasmaintained consistent steady growth, building 15 new plants in thepast 10 years. This plant is perhaps the smallest, but does provideopportunities for growth within the network. Sponsorship for immigration cases isunavailable. Responsibilities The Plant Manager is responsible foroverall plant operations. The Plant Manager has directresponsibility of the facility’s safety, quality, service,productivity, administrative and financial performance. This isaccomplished through leading, directing and managing thesubordinate department managers and office staff. The Plant Manageris also responsible for employee development, staffing, projectmanagement and annual operating budget preparation andrecommendations. The Plant Manager is the main point of contactbetween the company’s corporate office and the respectivemanufacturing location. The Plant Manager works closely withcorporate accounting, Human Resources and freight operations. ThePlant Manager is responsible for developing the culture of thefacility and successfully leading the operation. This positionprovides leadership for the facility and sets goals and executesstrategies to meet corporate and regional business objectives. ThePlant Manager reports directly to the Regional ManufacturingManager and at the executive level, to the Director ofManufacturing Operations. The responsibilities of this positioninclude, but are not limited to: Ensure a safe work environment forall employees and maintain a safe working record. Administer propersafety practices and procedures Oversee manufacturing operations.

Meet or exceed quality, productivity and maintenance expectationsEnsure excellent customer service through professional fleetoperation, customer relations and proper inventory Manage properstaffing levels and facilitate employee training, development andcareer progression Prepare annual operating budgets for plantoperations. Meet or exceed budget requirements Ensure propermanagement of all raw materials, finished goods and equipmentinventories Facilitate various operational programs and ensureplant compliance Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financialreports Maintain and build job skills through company and outsidetraining programs Promote a positive and transparent workenvironment Ensure proper management of operating supply purchasesvia the internal purchase order system or company credit card.
