Opportunity To:

+ Provide overall direction and guidance to the operation with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. Ensure on-time delivery, productivity and cost targets are met, while meeting or exceeding customer requirements for quality, delivery, and responsiveness. + Drive initiatives to foster a best-in-class safety culture and champion environmental health & safety initiatives. + Be frequently present on the manufacturing floor and shape a work environment where team members are engaged & motivated to produce their best work. + Manage the P&L, with accountability for plant budgets and product costs, assuring the facility exceeds performance targets. + Develop and manage a high-performing team of direct and indirect reports. + Serve as primary local community partner on behalf of Materion.

REQUIREMENTS

+ Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred + 5 years of plant leadership experience in multi-shift manufacturing in a highly technical environment + 5 years of experience in both direct leadership of subordinate staff as well as influencing others to achieve desired results + 3 years of experience with P&L responsibilities with a track record of managing capital and operational budgets within targets + Experience as a Tier 1 supplier to the semi-conductor industry strongly preferred + Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental regulations and labor law + Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) + Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or equivalent knowledge of formal Quality and Productivity Improvement Processes + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; focus on driving disciplined, fact-based decisions and executing with discipline and urgency + Track record of successful Project Management experience, leading multiple projects simultaneously + Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills, along with an ability to create accountability and to lead by example + Inspirational, adaptive leadership style that promotes innovation and collaboration + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to present information to diverse audiences #LI-AS1

Pay Range:

$144,900.00 – $231,500.00 Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
