ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and staff management in a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in manufacturing operations management, and a track record of achieving operational excellence in the cosmetic manufacturing industry, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the manufacturing plant to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer requirements. Lead and develop production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, quality control technicians, maintenance technicians, batching, and other plant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain high levels of productivity and workforce engagement. Monitor production performance, analyze production data, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for plant staff and comply with regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, supply chain, and sales, to support new product development, product launches, and customer requirements. Monitor and control operational costs and implement cost-saving initiatives. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production or quality issues. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely availability of raw materials, equipment, and services. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing programs, and operational excellence projects to drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance competitiveness. Ensure equipment is maintained and upgraded as needed to support operational efficiency. Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GMP, FDA, and ISO standards.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of seven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the cosmetic or consumer goods industry. Proven track record of successfully managing production operations, achieving targets for productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cosmetic manufacturing, including

GMP, FDA

regulations, and ISO standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and other manufacturing software applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
