The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. The Production Manager will lead a team of production staff, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that production goals are met. Responsibilities Manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Interview, hire, supervise and train production staff. Conduct risk assessments and audits. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure smooth operations. Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and resolve any operational issues. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output rates and downtime. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Biology is required. 5+ years of proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment. with a specialty chemicals background (pharmaceuticals or food and beverage), is required. No industrial. 2+ years of direct supervisory experience is required. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement is required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Local candidates are preferred, as no relocation assistance will be provided. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the manufacturing facility five days a week. This is a 100% On-site role.
