As a Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing activities, guiding teams and optimizing processes to ensure production goals are met efficiently, safely, and aligned with company objectives. Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of experience managing a production facility with at least 25 employees
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience with budgeting and financial planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing
General Requirements
Strong leadership and workforce planning skills
Ability to manage high-volume operations with multiple active customers and orders
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on management style
Essential Functions
Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to production supervisors and frontline teams, ensuring alignment with operational goals and business priorities
Partner with the Plant Manager to design and execute production strategies that support company objectives and growth initiatives
Oversee production scheduling, workforce planning, and staffing to maximize operational efficiency and meet output requirements
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement efforts in productivity, quality, and cost management
Serve as the primary escalation point for production-related challenges, proactively identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement through effective coaching, mentoring, and employee development
Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Lead performance management initiatives, including employee evaluations, training, and succession planning to build strong, capable teams
Champion process improvements and preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting broader plant initiatives and company-wide programs
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or senior leadership
