What You’ll Do
Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards Must be able to establish operational goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans, and hold management staff accountable Control inventory dollars and tons by meeting inventory turn standards set forth by the company Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company’s exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits and inspections What You’ll Need
Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns Past successful experience in operations, marketing, sales in a metal recycling facility or other related industry a strong plus Shredder knowledge preferred Nonferrous and/or wire chopping experience preferred Ability to make sure all employees are trained and well prepared to carry out their daily tasks to ensure everyone’s safety Must be able collaborative, partnering with leaders to positively motivate team to achieve success Must be able to control budgeted labor and overtime costs; as well as, maintain fiscal responsibility for all departments’ budgets Great organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task Proficiency with computer operating systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Your Education
