Local candidates only at this time. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Environmental Manager (heavy manufacturing) to join a publicly held heavy manufacturing company at the corporate level. This critical role will oversee regulatory environmental compliance across U.S. industrial business segments, with a strong focus on air permitting and major source compliance. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Environmental and requires extensive experience within industrial manufacturing sectors such as metals, automotive, steel, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage regulatory environmental compliance across multiple industrial sites. Lead facilities through major source air permitting processes, including Title V permitting and compliance reporting. Manage compliance and performance testing, including RATA testing (glass, paints, kilns, dryers). Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports, including EPCRA TRI and Tier II reports. Ensure solid and hazardous waste management practices meet federal and state regulations. Manage water compliance, including DMR (Discharge Monitoring Report) submittals, ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Technical Requirements:

Extensive experience handling major air source compliance, including Title V permitting. Strong background in air compliance testing and RATA testing. Proficient in EPCRA reporting (TRI and Tier II) and solid/hazardous waste compliance. Familiarity with DMR water reporting requirements and procedures. Ability to work independently while collaborating across various plant locations.
