Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a Concrete Plant Manager to join our team at our Ready-Mix Plant located in the Soddy Daisy, TN area. This position will report to the Ready-Mix Area Manager. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence and be a self-starter. The Concrete Plant Manager is responsible for managing plant location to make sure all safety procedures are being followed, optimizing plant performance, coordinating production schedules, and managing inventory. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in batching ready-mix concrete, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Concrete Plant Manager Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and supervise plant team members: Loader Operator, Delivery Professionals, etc Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality Efficiently and accurately batch concrete while optimizing plant efficiency and productivity Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain optimal output levels and minimize downtime Oversee maintenance activities to ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained and serviced Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize plant downtime and maximize productivity Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and additives to ensure production of high-quality concrete that meets customer specifications Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Concrete Plant Manager Qualifications:

Proven experience in the Ready-Mix industry, preferably in a managerial role High school diploma required or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred Strong knowledge of concrete batching processes, plant equipment, and quality control standards Excellent leadership and team management skills Solid understanding of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Intermediate computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite Valid Driver License with driving record that meets company standards Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 12 states with over 3,000 employees.
