With a state-of-the-art re-refinery and a growing fleet of over 150 vehicles, we prioritize customer satisfaction while adhering to the highest regulatory standards. Summary As a Plant Manager at Universal Environmental Services, you will oversee operations at our facility, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality standards in used oil collection and recycling. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining our commitment to environmental excellence. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient processing of used oil and related materials. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste. Oversee quality control measures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure a timely delivery of materials and services. Train and develop staff to foster a culture of safety and excellence within the plant. Coordinate with the Operations Manager with regards to transportation/scheduling for scrap steel shipments and third-party oil purchases. Requirements Proven experience in plant management or similar role within the environmental services or manufacturing industry. Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
