Position Summary:

The director of manufacturing directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.

Position Description:

Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, and quality. Anticipate and respond to dynamic events with appropriate actions as required. Coordinate plant activities by planning and collaborating with departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop and manage operational plans and budgets to strengthen Sinomax’s competitive position and improve daily profitability. Implement cost-effective controls over capital and operating expenditures, including labor, materials, and compensation. Oversee capital asset maintenance and enforce preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability. Establish and monitor overall plant performance metrics for production output and quality standards. Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses. Implement processes to ensure accuracy of supplies and inventories. Maintain plant facilities and equipment; recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary to support operational needs. Lead, coach, and develop staff to meet company objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Promote and enforce shop floor organization and a clean, orderly plant environment. Provide direction and ongoing development to supervisors and managers to support operational excellence. Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations for all employees and visitors.

Position Requirements:

Strong Leadership experience for a large team. Communication Proficiency (English-Mandarin preferred). Decision Making. Financial Management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and managerial skills. Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the manufacturing division. Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others. Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas. Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat in order to maintain equipment.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There may be small amounts of non-hazardous airborne particles from time to time. Work is performed in an office environment and in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Exposure to the production area may be hot, cold, humid, noisy, dusty industrial environment, and around dust, and other substances, exposure to this area is intermittent.
