Position Overview The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for managing production teams, optimizing workflow, and maintaining adherence to operational procedures. The Production Supervisor ensures that production targets are met while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities Production Management:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Team Leadership:

Supervise production teams, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.

Workforce Allocation:

Assign tasks to team members based on production needs, skill levels, and efficiency targets.

Process Adherence:

Ensure employees follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvements and collaborate with management to implement efficiency-boosting strategies.

Quality Assurance:

Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet company and industry standards.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce safety policies, conduct routine checks, and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.

Problem-Solving:

Address production bottlenecks, employee concerns, and process issues to maintain smooth operations.

Disciplinary Actions:

Manage employee performance, provide coaching, and enforce disciplinary measures when necessary.

Key Accountabilities Employee Retention & Engagement:

Foster a positive and motivated team environment to minimize turnover.

Process Execution & Compliance:

Ensure consistent application of production processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Communication & Collaboration:

Coordinate with leadership, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Qualifications Experience:

2+ years in manufacturing supervision or a leadership role in a production environment is a plus.

Leadership Skills:

Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.

Communication:

Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, management, and cross-functional teams.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze production challenges and implement solutions efficiently.

Organizational Skills:
