Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety policies, procedures, and required PPE guidelines. Train and develop employees when transitioning to new roles to maintain high performance standards . Oversee quality control procedures, ensuring team members understand and meet all quality expectations. Manage employee attendance, time tracking, and coaching to improve retention and reduce turnover. Assist employees in resolving work-related challenges , escalating issues to management or HR as needed. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products. Plan and oversee manufacturing operations , setting priorities and addressing any production, maintenance, or operational issues to minimize costs and prevent delays. Report equipment or personnel concerns to the appropriate leadership team. Assign tasks based on employees’ skill sets to maximize efficiency. Drive cost-reduction initiatives to meet yearly improvement goals. Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, housekeeping, and safety by proactively monitoring and adjusting processes. Regular attendance and schedule flexibility for rotating shifts and overtime as required. Perform additional duties as needed to support overall department goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum five years of production experience or equivalent customer service experience. At least two years in a leadership or supervisory role . Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; Plex experience is a plus . Ability to read and follow instructions accurately .
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Industrial plant setting with frequent exposure to stamping, welding, and E-coat processes . Requires standing and walking throughout the facility. Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds . Extended periods of computer use may be required.
