Sawmill Supervisor Binding Minds Inc. Leola, AR 72084 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork, machining, and fabrication, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. This role requires effective leadership skills to ensure operational efficiency and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance. Utilize calipers, hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery to fabricate products according to specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Coordinate workflow between different departments to optimize production processes. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure quality standards are met. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to machinery or production processes as they arise. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in using calipers, CNC machines, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment. Strong knowledge of millwork processes and machining techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A background as a carpenter or in related fields is a plus.
