Job Summary:

Join a family-owned glass and mirror shop with over 100 years of excellence in the industry. We are seeking an Inside Shop Manager with prior experience in the glass and mirror industry , ensuring they can oversee shop operations, manage pricing, inventory, and customer service, and maintain the company’s reputation for quality craftsmanship. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred , as this role involves working with a diverse customer base and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage pricing strategies for glass and mirror products based on material costs, labor, and market trends. Provide excellent customer service , handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction. Communicate effectively with customers and vendors , with bilingual skills being a huge advantage. Oversee daily shop operations , ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion. Manage inventory , ordering glass, mirrors, and related materials while optimizing cost efficiency. Supervise and train shop staff , including glass cutters, installers, and technicians. Ensure quality control , inspecting glass products for precision and durability. Maintain safety standards , ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Optimize shop efficiency , implementing best practices for production and installation. Handle budgeting and cost control , tracking expenses and maximizing profitability. Uphold the company’s legacy , ensuring continued excellence in craftsmanship and service.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in the glass and mirror industry is required. Strong technical knowledge of glass cutting, fabrication, and installation. Expertise in pricing strategies , cost analysis, and financial management. Excellent customer service skills , with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong client relationships. Bilingual skills are a huge plus , especially for working with a diverse customer base. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industry tools and equipment used in glass and mirror production. Basic financial and business management skills to oversee shop operations. Commitment to quality and tradition , ensuring the shop maintains its stellar reputation.
