We specialize in auto body work, paint, and structural repairs. As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Repair Plan Writer / Production Supervisor to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Repair Plan Writer /

Production Supervisor Position Overview:

This is a key position responsible for overseeing all aspects of repair planning and shop workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in estimating, parts ordering, repair scheduling, and quality control. You’ll work closely with technicians to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality repairs while maintaining a productive and organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Repair Planning:

Write accurate and detailed repair estimates using estimating software Perform damage assessments and blueprint vehicles to create comprehensive repair plans Identify and advise office secretary on necessary parts, materials, and supplies for each job Communicate repair needs and timelines with customers and insurance companies

Production Supervision & Scheduling:

Create and manage the repair schedule to ensure timely job completion Coordinate technician workload based on job complexity and shop capacity Track job progress and communicate turnaround times clearly to customers and team

Quality Control & Oversight:

Perform final quality control checks on all vehicles before delivery Ensure all repairs meet company standards and OEM guidelines Oversee and support technicians to resolve issues or bottlenecks in the workflow Monitor and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in collision repair estimating and/or some shop management Proficient with estimating software (CCC One, Mitchell, or similar) Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, parts sourcing, and shop operations Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Valid driver’s license I-CAR certification or ASE credentials are a plus
