The APO Supervisor provides hands-on leadership anddirection for the automated pouching operations. This role isresponsible for managing daily operations, achieving productiontargets, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuringefficiency and safety, and maintaining high-quality standards. Thisis a 3rd shift position with the hours of 11:00pm-7:30am,Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations ofthe automated pouching line to meet production schedules, volumetargets, and deadlines Lead, train, and mentor a team of machineoperators and technicians, conducting performance evaluations andproviding feedback Identify areas for process improvement andimplement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency Ensure allproducts meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.conducting regular inspections and audits Schedule and overseeroutine maintenance and machinery repairs to minimize downtimeEnforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workingenvironment for all employees Monitor, manage, and report rawmaterials and finished goods inventory levels Prepare and presentregular reports on production metrics, quality control, andoperational efficiency to senior management Ensure accurate andtimely data entry into the Manufacturing Reporting and InventoryManagement systems Maintain detailed records of productionactivities, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels Ensure alldocumentation complies with industry standards and regulatoryrequirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Manufacturing, or other related field 3 years of experience servingas an individual contributor in a related area Demonstrated strongleadership skills: ability to train, motivate, coach, and managethe performance of a diverse team Strong understanding ofmanufacturing principles, workflow optimization, and productionscheduling Excellent verbal and written communication andinterpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with variouslevels of personnel and departments Thorough knowledge ofindustrial safety practices and regulations (OSHA) Provenproblem-solving and analytical abilities Proficiency in usingmanufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP, NetSuite) and standardoffice software (Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook) Strongunderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles PreferredQualifications 5 years of experience in a leadership role inmanufacturing, with a strong preference for experience with GDManufacturing machinery and packaged goods Formal training orcertification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologiesWhat we offer Base salary and bonus program Medical, dental,vision, life insurance effective on date of hire Generous 401(k)Plan Defined Contribution Plan Paid vacation and paid holidaysTuition reimbursement Professional growth and development programsto help advance your career!
