Production Supervisor 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Pensacola, FL 32514 Job Purpose Monitor the production floor to ensure adherence of the SQDC hierarchy, provide sufficient support to subordinate team members, and ensure that production and delivery targets are met. The Supervisor is a hands-on role within the organization that is requires a daily presence on the floor and flexibility to adjust and perform in other roles to fill headcount gaps and meet the needs of the business. Duties Model Jupiter Bach’s hierarchy of operation SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost). Take responsibility of subordinate team members adherence to SQDC hierarchy. Meet with the Manager daily for schedule and updates. Ensure that the team is operating under current work instruction guidelines. Communicate any HR issues to Manager immediately. Provide accurate hands-on-training to team members as needed. Perform audits effectively, accurately, and within time allotted. Responsible for team’s adherence to company policies and must report violations to Manager immediately Inventory of production items as required by Manager. Supervisor must be able to perform managerial duties effectively and accurately in the absence of a Manager Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing schedule as follows: Supervisor must be able to effectively and accurately perform all daily, weekly, and monthly managerial duties including but not limited to: setting production & delivery schedules, reporting, inventory, time system, HR matters, meetings, etc. Supervisor may be permitted to delegate some workload to other team members, but this must be approved by the Manager before delegating. Supervisor is responsible for identifying factors that may prevent the production schedule from being met and exhaust all efforts to resolve said factors in order to meet the production schedule. Any issues that cannot be resolved and will prevent the production schedule from being met must be communicated to the Manager as soon as possible. Supervisor must be able to effectively communicate with other departments. Supervisor is responsible for documentation that is pertinent to production and delivery schedules. Supervisor is responsible for recording pertinent information daily, weekly, and monthly as set by the Manager. Supervisor must be able prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changes set by the Manager. Computer-based tasks are entered at end of shift and production is completed unless deemed urgent and approved by the Manager prior to. Monitor and track daily scans, and required communications and documentation into BC, Kazien, and Teams chat channels. Record quality of work and safety related issues for correction and instruction. Monthly report including SQDC and bullets provided to Manager by end of month.
