  • Shift Supervisor. We need someone on the firstshift, which is Monday
  • Thursday (6AM
  • 4:30PM with overtimeworked as needed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Types of things you’ll be doing.

You’ll be working hard on theproduction floor learning our manufacturing processes and workinghand in hand with our many talented team members. It cannot beemphasized enough that this is a position that will require you tobe on the floor. This is not a position for someone that wants toremain in the office and learn from a computer. As a shift supervisor, you’ll be responsible for building strongrelationships with our production team members while learning howwe operate and the many different steps that go into ourmanufacturing process. We are known for our ability to adapt to ourclient demands while manufacturing quality parts and shipping thoseparts on time. Of course, you’ll be supported by TruCut’ s Quality, Purchasing andEngineering teams. You’ll also need to partner with Productionscheduling to understand how we operate and what jobs are scheduledto be run. You will be active within our Safety teams and beexpected to provide sound leadership when it comes to safety andhazard recognition. Although accountants can be dry, stuffy and tell bad jokes, you’llalso have to coordinate with them at least once a year to conduct aphysical inventory. We strive to teach all employees to think like a business owner, soyou’ll need to utilize technical analysis and business acumen tomake well-informed decisions impacting daily duties. Types of things you won’t be doingDon’t count on being a deskjockey all day. While many of your duties will involve using ERPsystem, you’ll need to learn, understand, and interact with ourproducts, people, and processes. This position requires the personto be very proactive in their duties by developing solutions topotential issues before they occur. We encourage everyone to showinitiative and act. This is not for beginners (we have otherpositions for those!). Ideally, we’d prefer that you have abachelor’s degree in business or management with a minimum of 7+years of experience in a supervisory role within a heavymanufacturing environment. No degree? We will be looking for atleast ten years of experience combined with real world experienceworks fine, too. Also, be prepared to explain the theory ordoctrine that you subscribe to, as it relates to productionsupervision and what you have done that has led to your previoussuccess. If you are the person that ultimatelyends up filling this position, then we’ll compensate you with acompetitive compensation structure. We also provide a full suite ofmedical, dental, and vision insurances. Several supplementalpolicies are available as well. You can participate in our 401kwith up to a 4% match. We also offer a gainsharing program whereyou can earn up to a 13% bonus if the company achieves its annualfinancial goals. You’ll automatically get a $25,000 company-fundedlife insurance policy as well. We pay for you to stay home on 8holidays (9 if you’re a veteran) and have paid time off aswell. Should you decide you want to continue your education, and it is ina discipline that would benefit the company then we also have atuition reimbursement program.
